San Diego, CA – September 25, 2014
Part three of this three post series. The Casbah is a great small, divey, music club in San Diego. It was great to see Clairy and the Rackettes there: small stage, small venue, very intimate. Since San Diego is my home town, it was easy to justify a tip there, and I’m really glad we made it. I feel like I witnessed a bit of a transformation of Clairy that night. Her vocal prowess and stage presence moved into a realm I don’t often see. Be sure to keep an eye on this one! And to top it off, the very cool “Wild Roses” with Marc Orrell opened the show.
